COCCITRAK® 5% is used in the prevention and treatment of infections caused by coccidia and protozoa in pigs, bovines (milk and meat), sheep, goats, dogs (dogs) and cats (cats).
Each ml contains:
-Toltrazuril 50 mg.
- Vehicle cbp 1 ml.
Coccitrak® 5% is an oral solution of toltrazuril, which is indicated for the control and treatment of coccidiosis in pigs, sheep, calves, cats, dogs, adult cattle and goats.
Coccitrak® 5% is used in the prevention and treatment of infections caused by coccidia and protozoa in pigs, bovines (milk and meat), sheep, goats, dogs (dogs) and cats (cats). Its broad spectrum includes all species of coccidia in all its phases including schizogony and gametogonia. Its activity against macro and microgametes characterizes it on other anticoccidial compounds.
It is indicated for neonatal use against Isospora suis in piglets. It is also used against Toxoplasma, Sarcocystis, Theileria, Isosporas and Cystisospora. It is compatible with food additives, other anticoccidials and medicines commonly used in production. It does not interfere negatively in weight gain and feed conversion. Does not alter the consumption of water or food.
• Pigs, cattle (milk and meat), sheep, goats and dogs (dogs): 20 mg / kg live weight (1 ml / 2.5 kg live weight). One application is sufficient during the life of the animal.
• In the case of piglets it would be the same dose between 3 and 6 days of age. In calves, a dose of 15 mg / kg live weight (1 ml / 3.3 kg live weight) is recommended.
• In the case of Theileria annulata in bovines, it is recommended to increase the dose to 25 mg / kg of live weight (1 ml / 2 kg of live weight).
• Felines (cats): 10 mg / kg live weight (1 ml / 5 kg live weight).
